Care Inspectorate Grades Includem ‘Excellent’

We are delighted to announce that following an unannounced Care Inspectorate inspection last month our services have been awarded the highest possible grade – Grade 6 ‘Excellent’.

The report, which you can read in full here, recognised the excellent support we provide for young people and their families and concluded:

“Interventions resulted in significant, and sometimes dramatic changes in young people’s behaviours and family dynamics. The major strength is the workers’ ability to form and maintain purposeful and positive relationships with young people and their families very quickly”

Importantly for us, the inspection included feedback from young people – the most important people in any service we provide. Young people told the Care Inspectorate:

“the workers are brilliant – really nice – I have a very good relationship with them”

“things are better since they have been involved – I can chat to any of my workers about things that are bothering me”

Social workers added:

“They are really on the ball – focused and child-centred – they have made significant progress with the families they work with”
