As far as possible, at Includem we help parents and carers to address problems, giving them practical support to help them do this. Evidence shows that in most cases, this is in the best interests of the young person.
We have a strong commitment and determination not to give up on young people. This consistent approach has been shown to be effective in building up relationships based on respect, honesty and care.
With a one-to-one worker helping support the young person, care within the family can be a viable option in many cases.
Naturally, we take a rigorous approach to risk management – and we are committed to continuous measurement of effectiveness.
