“Changing lives for the better”

We are delighted to announce that the Care Inspectorate in it’s most recent inspection of our services has awarded Includem Grade 6 – ‘Excellent’ for quality of care and support and quality of staffing. It joins our existing Grade 6 for quality of management and leadership.

The report highlights the critical elements of our model of support, including the strong relationships staff build with young people:

“We found the service provided an excellent standard of care for young people. Staff placed a very strong emphasis in developing positive, nurturing relationships with young people and their families, and their committed staff group worked consistently to achieve these relationships”

Listening to the voices of young people is a key part of Includem’s support and we were particularly pleased therefore that the Care Inspectorate were able to record some of their thoughts on our service. One young person commented:

“They are changing people’s lives for the better… the only thing they could do better is to do more of what they are doing – they are life savers”
