Chief Constable Visits Includem

We were delighted to welcome the Chief Constable of Police Scotland, Phil Gormley to Includem recently to discuss our IMPACT project.

Mr Gormley heard from frontline staff working on the project, which seeks to reduce violent, often alcohol-fuelled offending by young people in Glasgow.

Includem’s Chief Executive, Angela Morgan said after the visit:

“It was a pleasure to welcome the Chief Constable to Includem so he could meet frontline staff and hear first-hand the impact our service has both on reducing offending and improving the lives of young people.

“Mr Gormley shared his interest in understanding the root causes of offending and in further developing joint working such as the IMPACT project which is an effective partnership between Police Scotland and Includem.

“We hope to continue these conversations in the months ahead as the welcome focus in Police Scotland’s 2026 strategy on prevention and early intervention continues to develop.”
