We are delighted to announce that we have been nominated for ‘The Voluntary Sector Partnership Award’ at this year’s Scottish Public Sector Awards 2025.
includem’s Family Wellbeing Service has been shortlisted for the prestigious award. The nomination recognises the power of cross-sector collaboration and innovation in improving the lives of children, young people and families across Glasgow.
The pilot project is funded by the Scottish Government’s Whole Family Wellbeing Fund. It was set up to help “Keep the Promise” made by the Scottish Government, making sure families are supported early and before problems reach a crisis point. The project is funded until the end of the 2025/26 financial year and will be under review in the coming months.
The service is delivered in partnership with the Health Improvement Team at Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership, supporting 12 Deep End GP surgeries in Glasgow. Deep End GP services refer to practices serving Scotland’s most socio-economically deprived communities—a term originating from a University of Glasgow project started in 2009.
The team works alongside Glasgow Life, Thrive Under 5, the Glasgow Youth Health Service, and the Family Finance Project to provide tailored, whole-family support.
Awards will be presented across 11 categories at a ceremony in the Garden Lobby of the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday, 3 December 2025.
Commenting on the shortlisting, Iain Forbes OBE, Chair of includem, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted. This recognition is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and impact of the work of our team and our partners in the Health Improvement Team at Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership.
“As Chair, I am incredibly proud of the way we continue to work collaboratively to improve the lives of children, young people, and families, and to strengthen communities. Being acknowledged in this way reinforces the importance of the work we do — and the values that drive us.”
Tracey Stewart, Director of Services at includem, added:
“It’s an honour to see our work recognised. Our teams are deeply committed to delivering meaningful, person-centred support. This nomination reflects the strength of our partnerships and the positive outcomes we can achieve together for children, young people, and families across Scotland.
“I’m proud of the passion and professionalism that our staff and partners bring every day — this recognition belongs to them.”
Includem continues to develop innovative, whole-family approaches that not only support those most in need but also ease pressure on frontline services, demonstrating how compassion, collaboration, and community can transform lives.
