Commenting on the publication of the Tackling Child Poverty Delivery Plan, Louise Hunter, Chief Executive of includem said:
“We welcome today’s publication of the Scottish Government’s Tackling Child Poverty Delivery Plan.
“Our teams repeatedly hear from families and young people how much Whole Family Support matters to them and we are grateful that this is recognised and reflected in the additional funding allocated under the Government’s Plan.
“The Plan is published at a crucial time in Scotland, and we call the next Scottish Government to take forward this vital work to meet the needs of communities across Scotland and to eradicate child poverty.
“While significant progress has been made, we must go further to tackle poverty and support Scotland’s children and young people.”
