News & Stories

We believe that all children and young people should have a voice. Behind every child or young person we work with there is a story, which they are best placed to tell. They might not have decided the beginning, or the middle, but they can re-write the ending.

includem Team Jigsaws take on the Kiltwalk

This year, includem’s Team Jigsaws will take on the Kiltwalk across Scotland to raise essential funds for the children, young people, and families we support.

The team, made up of Blair, Beth, David, James, Lisa, Lucy, Martyn, Pauline and Wendy will take on a total of 220 miles between them, by completing Kiltwalks in Glasgow and Edinburgh. They have been preparing tirelessly for the trek ahead of them and to date have raised £1,720 for includem.

The funds raised will be used to help children, young people, and families across Scotland that includem supports, many of whom are affected by poverty and don’t always have access to the things that we take for granted.

For every £25 raised, a family can have internet access for one month, £50 can ensure that four people have the clothes they need, and for every £100, we can ensure that a family of four has enough food for a fortnight.

If you would like to help Team includem Jigsaws meet their target and provide this support to those that need it the most, visit includem.org/donate.

With the current cost-of living-crisis, it is more important than ever that we do everything we can to ensure that those we support have access to the essentials they need.
