We believe that all children and young people should have a voice. Behind every child or young person we work with there is a story, which they are best placed to tell. They might not have decided the beginning, or the middle, but they can re-write the ending.

The Secret Santa Appeal 2022

We are delighted to launch our Young Person’s Fund Christmas Appeal 2022!

This year, we are calling on Secret Santa’s to donate the £5 or £10 they would have spent on a Christmas gift, to our Young Person’s Fund instead. This will help us ensure that this Christmas, the only difficult choice families will need to make is how to enjoy Christmas day together.

Today’s Appeal launch comes after our own, soon to be launched, research found that 94% of families told us that they feel their finances have worsened over the last 6 months, 74% feel their mental health has deteriorated, while 78% feel deeper in debt.

With support from Secret Santa’s, we hope to alleviate the financial pressure and anxiety families experience more than any other time of the year and help give children and young people a magical Christmas experience that they will otherwise miss out on.

In 2021, thanks to support and donations from The Tartan Army, Diageo, PDMS, Terasaki Electric more to our Young Person’s Fund we were able to provide Christmas presents and experiences for over 400 children and young people across the country.

To say thank you for their donation, Secret Santa’s can download and print our special thank you certificates to gift to their giftee.

So, Secret Santa’s help us make this a Christmas to remember for children, young people and families across Scotland.
