Commenting on the launch of the Scottish Government’s Housing to 2040 strategy today which looks to build 100,000 more affordable homes as part of a twenty year strategy, Meg Thomas, Head of Policy & Participation at includem added:
“We welcome the commitment to affordable homes but more needs to be done to alleviate the impact of poverty to ensure families can meet all their needs.
“Includem would like to see more support given to families to reduce the risk of homeless and ensure children grow up loved, safe and respected so that they can realise their full potential”.
